Cafe NASA

A space construction injury ends Natasha Romanenka’s Cosmonaut career, but not her life. She’s determined to adapt to her injuries and remain on the Moon. With the help of sympathetic, influential friends she succeeds and receives permission to stay and open Café NASA at Philolaus Station, Luna. Natasha soon contributes much more than culinary skills. She shares adventures with a colorful cast of characters who become customers and friends like WATCHER, ICEMAN, Ned Divine, REGULATOR, and others who share news and adventures within and beyond the diner.

It’s a curious time for Luna. Thanks to the discovery of copious quantities of ice and rare minerals in the lunar crust and the lowered cost of space travel, Philolaus Station becomes something reminiscent of the American old west. The floodgates of immigration are flung to greet a wide assortment of adventurers. The staid group of scientists, engineers, technicians and government officials mix with thrill seekers, colonists, tourists, and private company executives all bent on leaving their mark and staking their claim in this high frontier.

You’ll join Natasha and her new friends as they stumble upon a hidden 3000-year-old cache of record spindles and artifacts left by a mysterious group called the Trapp, learn of their contest of wills with the Chi-com, as they struggle to build a second, competitively secret  Lunar mass driver and of the choices Natasha made that launched her starry career and an unrequited love that spanned both time and space.
